Sri Veda Vidya Gurukulam
Preserving Veda, Vaidika Dharma, and the Sacred Cow at Kalancheri
Three Pillars of Kalancheri
Veda Adhyayanam
Dedicated to the oral tradition of Krishna Yajur and Sama Veda, preserving ancient wisdom through rigorous study and chanting.
Gau Samrakshanam
Sacred cow protection and care, honoring the divine connection between humanity and these gentle beings.
Rishi Krishi
Vedic agriculture using mantra-infused, organic practices that nurture both the land and the soul.
Gau Seva: The Highest Dharma
“The cow is the embodiment of all deities. Serving the cow is serving the divine. At our Goshala, we provide shelter, nourishment, and medical care to native breeds, ensuring they live with dignity and grace.”
Our Goshala is home to indigenous cows that are cared for with devotion and respect. We feed them nutritious fodder including Agathi Keerai (sesbania), provide veterinary care, and maintain a clean, peaceful environment. The cow dung and urine are used in organic farming, completing the sacred cycle of sustainability.
A Life Dedicated to Dharma
Shri G.K. Seetharaman
A devoted scholar and practitioner of Vaidika Dharma, Shri G.K. Seetharaman has dedicated his life to preserving the sacred traditions of Vedic learning and cow protection. His vision for Sri Veda Vidya Gurukulam emerged from a deep understanding that true education must integrate spiritual wisdom with practical living.
Under his guidance, the Gurukulam has become a sanctuary where young minds immerse themselves in Vedic chanting, students learn the sacred responsibility of Gau Seva, and the ancient practice of Rishi Krishi flourishes. His unwavering commitment ensures that these timeless traditions continue to illuminate the path for future generations.
“When we protect the Veda, the cow, and the earth, we protect the very essence of our civilization.”
Kalancheri Rishi Krishi Vedic Rice
Nutrition for Soul and Body
Our Rishi Krishi project cultivates rice using ancient Vedic agricultural methods. Each grain is grown with mantras, organic cow-based fertilizers, and zero chemicals. The result is rice that nourishes not just the body, but carries the vibrations of sacred chants and pure intentions.
Krk Vedic Rice is cultivated on our 10-acre Kalancheri campus, where students participate in every stage—from sowing seeds with Vedic rituals to harvesting with gratitude. This rice embodies the harmony between nature, tradition, and spiritual practice.
